News Mendes, Beale, Hall and Hamilton to Discuss Winter's Tale for Shakespeare Society Director Sam Mendes and company members of the Bridge Project, currently in residence at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, will discuss Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale on March 2.

The Shakespeare Society presents the 7 PM evening that will be held at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. Gail Paster, the director of the Folger Shakespeare Library, will join in the discussion.

In addition to Academy Award-winning director Mendes, the evening will feature Bridge Project company members Simon Russell Beale, Rebecca Hall and Josh Hamilton, who will perform selections from The Winter's Tale.

A collaboration between BAM, The Old Vic and Sam Mendes' Neal Street Productions, The Winter's Tale is the second classic to be presented at BAM's Harvey Theatre, following Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard. Both productions continue in repertory through March 8 at BAM.

The Winter's Tale, equal parts psychological drama and comedic farce, is billed as a "magical testament to the follies of hasty judgment and the force of love as a means of redemption."

Tickets for the evening, priced $25, are available by phoning (212) 772-4448. The Kaye Playhouse is located at East 68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues.
