News Mermaid's Egan to Perform Songs from "Count the Stars" at Barnes & Noble John Treacy Egan, who plays Chef Louis in the new Disney musical The Little Mermaid, will perform songs from his new solo CD May 28 at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble.

The free performance, part of Barnes & Noble's "Any Wednesday" series, will begin at 6 PM.

Egan's debut CD, "Count the Stars," features a mix of standards and Broadway anthems. The recording is currently available by visiting iTunes or Cdbaby.com.

John Treacy Egan played the roles of Max, Roger DeBris and Franz Liebkind in The Producers, and he also appears in the film version of the musical hit. He was an original cast member in the Broadway mounting of Jekyll & Hyde, and his other theatrical credits include tours of Kiss Me, Kate and Cats and the Off-Broadway staging of Bat Boy. Egan's TV credits include "Law & Order" and "As the World Turns."
