News Met Opera Singer Among Victims of European Air Crash Maria Radner, described as "a rising Wagnerian star" who had performed at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, was among 150 passengers on the Germanwings plane that crashed March 24 in the French Alps. No survivors have been found.

The WQXR website reported that Radner, 33, sang eight performances as one of the Norns in the Met's 2012 staging of Götterdämmerung.

Radner had boarded the plane with her husband and infant child, according to the website.

Another opera singer, Kazakh baritone Oleg Bryjak, was also killed in the crash.
