News Michael Ball and Tony Winner Alfie Boe Announce Joint U.K. Concert Tour Concerts follow the release of a joint album Together.

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, who have released a new joint album called Together, are to take the show on the road for a concert tour, beginning performances at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena November 3, and then playing dates around the U.K, culminating at Sheffield’s City Hall December 3.

In between, they will also play in Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Bristol, London, Brighton, Leicester, Liverpool, Leeds, Nottingham, Blackpool and Manchester.

The London date will be at the London Palladium, November 12, where Ball has previously starred in the original London production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Ball’s most recent theatre appearance was as Mack Sennett in Mack and Mabel at Chichester, playing Mack Sennett, at Chichester Festival Theatre. He also starred in the title role of the Chichester production of Sweeney Todd, winning an Olivier award for Best Actor in a Musical for the performance when it transferred to the West End. He is also an Olivier winner for the original London production of Hairpray. Other original roles include Marius in Les Misérables and Alex in Aspects of Love (which he subsequently also played on Broadway) as well as the original London production of Sondheim’s Passion. He also has an extensive recording, concert and radio presenting career.

Boe, who received a 2003 Tony Honor for Excellence in Theatre following his appearance in Baz Luhrmann’s Broadway production of La Bohème, has also appeared on Broadway as Valjean in Les Misérables (a role he played in the 25th anniversary production at London’s O2 Arena and in the West End) and is currently on Broadway playing J.M. Barrie in Finding Neverland. He is also known for his work as a leading opera singer with companies that have included English National Opera.
