The show will open Aug. 26 at 7 PM. Cerveris will appear at the Aug. 28 7 PM show, D'Agostino will guest at the Aug. 30 performance at 9:30 PM, and Rapp will make an appearance at the Aug. 31 performance at 7 PM.

The show will feature G. Scott Lacy at the piano. Sarna Lapine will direct.

Kidding on the Square is described in press notes as "an evening of old-fashioned love songs with a twist. Broadway, film, and current 'Desperate Housewives' star Emily Bergl, along with acclaimed pianist G. Scott Lacy, creates a cabaret world that blends classic Fats Waller and Cole Porter classics along with vintage takes on modern favorites, from Madonna to the Scissor Sisters. It's a journey that takes the audience on a roaring 20’s ride through love, heartbreak, and everything in between."

Bergl's New York stage credits include A Touch of the Poet and The Rivals on Broadway, and Becky Shaw and Some Americans Abroad (opposite Rapp) at Second Stage.
