News Michael Stuhlbarg and Anna Chlumsky Set for Reading of Horovitz's Unexpected Tenderness Barefoot Theatre Company’s 70/70 Project, a yearlong, worldwide festival showcasing 70 plays by Israel Horovitz, will conclude March 31 with a reading of Horovitz's Unexpected Tenderness at the Bleecker Street Theatre.

Golden Globe and Tony-nominated actor Michael Stuhlbarg will be featured in a cast that also includes Lynn Cohen, Anna Chlumsky and Sol Freider as well as Barefoot Theatre Company members. Terry Kinney directs.

"A study on family dysfunction," press notes state, "the play examines the relationship between a father and son and presents, through the character Archie Stern, one of Horovitz’s most complex creations."

The evening will begin with cocktails at 7 PM followed by the 8 PM reading.
