Among those scheduled to lend their voices to Michael Arden's work are Gavin Creel, Eden Espinosa, Evan Pappas, Eden Riegel, Sara Gettelfinger, Matthew Morrison, Shoshana Bean, Max von Essen, Kirsten Rossi, Norm Lewis, Michael Hunsaker and Santino Fontana. Composer Arden, who appeared in the recent revival of Big River, will also be part of the concert evening at Makor.
Easter Rising is a presentation of the Artists Showcase Series, which was created by Geoffrey Soffer to present readings of new works as well as concerts featuring performers from the worlds of cabaret, television, film and Broadway.
Makor is located in Manhattan at 35 West 67th Street, between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. Tickets, priced at $12, are available by calling (212) 601-1000. Proceeds will benefit a charity to be announced.
