Seen at the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival — where it earned an Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Solo Show — The Miss Education of Jenna Bush poses that the President's daughter gets a job as a public school teacher. The rowdy, gossip-page regular prepares for her first day while fielding well-wishing gifts and phone calls from familiar names.

Cleveland penned his solo My Buddy Bill, based on his relationship with former President Bill Clinton. Peter Birkenhead directs the work which debuted at the Geffen Playhouse in Nov. 2005.

After New York and Los Angeles runs of her show, Gurwitch takes Fired! to the next level this year with the documentary version of the compilation of actors' and others' stories of being let go in "Fired! Tales of the Canned, Canceled, Downsized, and Dismissed." Celebrating the film, Gurwitch and an all-star cast relive their tales of woe and unemployment Fired! Live!
