There are a couple of good reasons why Moises Kaufman hasn't gone very far into Play Two. Every time he turns around, a new company of his Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde starts up and he has to direct it into place. London gets the next in November.
Also, he's polishing the screen adaptation, and he has finagled the right to direct it as well.
"We have about four people interested in doing the movie, so it's going to happen," the 28-year-old playwright told Playbill On-Line. "It's going to be an independent film. I don't want it any other way."
