Directed by PTC artistic director Charles Morey, the limited engagement will continue through Jan. 28.

The cast of Find and Sign includes Molly Ward (Kin at Playwrights Horizons) as Julia, Karl Miller (Columbinus at NYTW) as Iago, Gardner Reed (Doubt at Kansas City Rep) as Mona, Keith Hamilton Cobb (Hamlet at North Shore Music Theatre) as Andre, Terrell Donnell Sledge (The Crucible at Trinity Rep) as Mac and Daniel Morgan Shelley (Off-Broadway's The Man Who Ate Michael Rockefeller) as Cal.

Here's how the show is billed: "Set in the New York City music industry (with a slight nod to Othello), Find and Sign takes us through the bumpy romance between an on-the-rise music executive and an idealistic public school teacher. When one of the teacher’s students turns out to be a gifted young hip-hop artist whom her boyfriend wants to 'find and sign' to a recording contract, their tentative romance is complicated by a tug-of-war over the student’s future."

Playwright MacLeod's The House of Yes became a Miramax film starring Parker Posey and earned a Special Jury Award at Sundance. Her other plays include Juvenilia, The Water Children and Things Being What They Are, among others.

Other members of the creative team include scenic designer James Wolk, costume designer Pamela Scofield, lighting designer Dennis Parichy and sound designer and composer Matthew Tibbs.

Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre is located at 300 South 1400 East in Salt Lake City, UT. For more information and tickets, call (801) 581-6961 or visit www.pioneertheatre.org.
