News Monumental Evening, with Blaemire, Brady, Wilfert, Plays Ars Nova Feb. 23 A Monumental Evening with Miller & Tysen, which had been scheduled to play the now-closed Zipper Factory Theater, instead plays the Ars Nova Feb. 23.

The evening featuring the songs of Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen will begin at the West 54th Street venue at 8 PM.

Monumental Evening boasts the talents of Nick Blaemire, Charlie Brady, Allison Case, Veronica Kuehn and Sally Wilfert as well as the cast of the Drama Desk-nominated Fugitive Songs: Halle Petro, Todd Pettiford, Ben Roseberry and Lucia Spina.

The performers will be accompanied by a five-piece string band. Concertgoers can expect to hear new material from Miller and Tysen's upcoming commissions at Lincoln Center and Playwrights Horizons as well as tunes from The Burnt Part Boys.

Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen's musicals include Fugitive Songs, The Burnt Part Boys (book: Mariana Elder), The Mysteries of Harris Burdick (book: Joe Calarco) and True Fans. They are the recipients of a 2007 Kitty Carlisle Hart Award, a 2006 Richard Rodgers Award, a 2004 Daryl Roth Creative Spirit Award, a 2003 Frederick Loewe Foundation Grant and a 2003 Jonathan Larson Award.
