The British Academy of Film and Television Arts celebrated the film work of a number of stage artists with nominations for the 71st BAFTA Awards. The ceremony will take place February 18 at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Laurie Metcalf, who won a Tony Award last year for A Doll’s House, Part 2 and will return to Broadway this spring in Three Tall Women, is once again recognized for her supporting performance in Lady Bird. Also in her category is Tony nominee Allison Janney, who picked up her first Golden Globe January 7 for her performance in I, Tonya.

Thee Billboards Outisde Ebbing, Missouri, pick up a Leading Actress nod for Tony winner Frances McDormand (following her win at the Golden Globes), as well as Director and Original Screenplay nominations for playwright Martin McDonagh. Tony nominee Annette Bening was recognized for her work in Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool.

Timothée Chalamet, who earned a Lucille Lortel Award in 2016 for Off-Broadway’s Prodigal Son, picked up a Leading Actor nod for his performance in Call Me By Your Name; he is also recognized in the public-voted EE Rising Star Award.
