News Movie Geek Tells All at the Fringe Dylan Dawson's new version of Movie Geek, a multimedia satire told in the style of Citizen Kane, will play at the New York International Fringe Festival, Aug. 12-26.

      Presented by the Los Angeles-based Charlie B. Company, the play features an acting company and production team composed almost entirely of NYU/Tisch graduates. Andy Donald co-conceived and directs the piece.   A fake Ken Burns-style documentary live on stage, the comedy follows the epic rise and fall of the fictional "Geek," who would grow up to become the world's biggest movie nerd and subsequently most powerful Hollywood mogul. The action is split between onstage parodies of classic films and onscreen interviews with famous movie stars.
