News Much Ado About Nothing, Scored by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, Begins at Shakespeare on the Sound June 16 The Shakespeare on the Sound production of Much Ado About Nothing, featuring a score by Tony Award-winning Passing Strange writer Stew and collaborator Heidi Rodewald, begins performances June 16 in Rowayton, CT.

Joanna Settle directs the summer engagement that will run in Pinkney Park in Rowayton, CT (June 16-26) and Baldwin Park in Greenwich, CT (July 5-10).

The cast includes Mozhan Marnó (Beatrice), Gregory Wooddell (Benedick), Claire Brownell (Hero), William Jackson Harper (Claudio), Jesse J. Perez (Don Pedro, Borachio, Ursula), Orlando Pabotoy (Don John, Dogberry, Margaret), Ramsey Faragallah (Leonato), Chivas Michael (Balthasar), and James O’Reilly, Jithendra Seneviratne and Jacob Presson (Dogberry's Men).

Stew was first enlisted by Shakespeare on the Sound artistic director Joanna Settle to pen the score for A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2009. He was joined by Rodewald for the 2010 production of Othello and the two again collaborated on Much Ado.

Designing Much Ado are set designer Andrew Lieberman, costume designer Tilly Grimes, lighting designer Keith Parham and sound system designers Jessica Paz and Obadiah Eaves. Jesse J. Perez will choreograph.
