We're thrilled we're able to bring it back for people who missed it, and for people who want to see it again. It is a show that deserves a significant future life, and we're delighted to be the ones who are able to make that happen."

Enter Laughing: The Musical features a book by Joseph Stein and music and lyrics by the late Stan Daniels. The musical is based on Stein's play, which was based on Carl Reiner's semi-autobiographical novel.

Originally titled So Long, 174th Street, Enter Laughing: The Musical concerns "the journey of young aspiring actor David Kolowitz as he tries to free himself from overly protective parents and girlfriends, while struggling to meet the challenge of a lack of talent in 1930s New York City," according to press notes.

The York Theatre Company plays the Theatre at Saint Peter's, which is located at 54th Street, east of Lexington Avenue. For more information or to purchase tickets, priced $35, call (212) 935-5820 or visit www.yorktheatre.org.
