The Muny, which is the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre, will present Seven Brides every night through Aug. 13 at 8:15 PM. James Clow and Kate Baldwin head the cast as, respectively, Adam and Milly.

The company also features Jim T. Ruttman as Benjamin, Cary Tedder as Ephraim, Drew Humphrey as Caleb, Kevin Worley as Daniel, Colt Prattes as Frank, Joseph Medeiros as Gideon, Neal Frederiksen as Mr. Bixby, Zoe Vonder Haar as Mrs. Bixby, James Anthony as Preacher, John Contini as Mr. Perkins, Robert Earl Gleason as Town Drunk, Faren Collins as Ruth, Sydney Laine Morton as Liza, Karilyn Ashley Surratt as Martha, Sara Dobbs as Sarah, Nicole Hren as Alice, Gia Grazia Valenti as Dorcas, George Smallwood as Jeb, Nathaniel Braga as Zeke, Billy Harrington Tighe as Carl, Nathan T. Madden as Matt, Olivia Prosser as Dorcas' Sister, Karin Beruti as Mrs. Perkins, Brandon Bieber as Joel and Amos Wolff as Luke.

Marc Bruni directs the Muny production, which features choreography by Pepper Clyde. The creative team also includes Michael Anania (scenic design), David Lander (lighting design), Kansas City Costume (costume design), Michael Horsley (musical direction) and Jason Krueger (sound design).

"Set in Oregon Territory," according to Muny notes, "this is the saga of seven back-wood brothers and their seven blushing sweethearts from town. Add an abduction, an avalanche and a seven-shotgun wedding, and you’ve got a vigorous evening of theatre to long remember."

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers features a book by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay, lyrics by Johnny Mercer, music by Gene de Paul and new songs by Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn. Directed by Lawrence Kasha, the original Broadway production played 15 previews and five regular performances at the Alvin Theatre in summer 1982. Debby Boone and the late David-James Carroll headed the cast. Kate Baldwin has appeared on Broadway in Wonderful Town, The Full Monty and Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as the City Center Encores! productions of Babes in Arms, A Connecticut Yankee and Bloomer Girl. She was also recently seen in the Paper Mill production of Hello, Dolly! She was Helen Hayes Award nominated for playing Nellie in South Pacific at Arena Stage.

James Clow's Broadway credits include Assassins, Wonderful Town, Company, She Loves Me and Blood Brothers. He was also seen in the Off-Broadway mounting of Juno as well as the Carnegie Hall Sondheim celebration.
