News Music and Literature Meld in Musical Parodies Alice in One-Hit-Wonderland and OthE.L.O. Beginning July 12 Electric Light Orchestra — whose songs are heard in the new Broadway musical Xanadu — and a slew of one-hit-wonders mix with Lewis Carroll and William Shakespeare's tales as The Troubadour Theater Company presents Alice in One-Hit-Wonderland and OthE.L.O. beginning July 12.

Falcon Theatre presents the Troubaour Theater Company at its Burbank, CA, home for a repertory run of both works starting July 12 and playing through Aug. 26. Matt Walker directs.

Alice in One-Hit-Wonderland is billed as "a remix of the trippy Lewis Carroll tale to the tune of the greatest one-hit-wonders of all time!" The family-friendly comedy begins previews July 12 and officially opens July 20.

"Ready for Moor?" poses the tongue-in-cheek release about OthE.L.O. "Then don't miss the off-the-wall Shakespearean spoof... and see the Bard's classic tragedy in a whole new electric light to the music of progressive '70s rockers, Electric Light Orchestra." (Note, this show is billed as "not-so family[-friendly].") Previews begin Aug. 1 toward an Aug. 4 opening.
