News Music of the Night: An Evening with Davis Gaines Set for Feb. 19 in CA Longtime Phantom of the Opera star Davis Gaines will perform Music of the Night, a one-night-only benefit concert, Feb. 19 in Glendale, CA.

Gaines' 8 PM concert at the Alex Theatre promises Broadway show tunes and popular standards. Fans can be sure they will hear his signature performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Music of the Night." Gaines performed the role of The Phantom over 2,000 and holds the record as Los Angeles' longest-running Phantom. All proceeds from Music of the Night: An Evening with Davis Gaines will benefit SOSMentor, a not-for-profit organization fighting childhood obesity.

In addition to Phantom, Gaines has also appeared in the world premiere of Lloyd Webber's Whistle Down the Wind, as well as Hello, Dolly! with Carol Channing, Camelot with Richard Burton and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with Alexis Smith. His Los Angeles stage appearances include 1776, Side By Side By Sondheim and Parade.
