After the show took a three-week hiatus in April to rework original director/co-bookwriter/co-creator Julie Taymor's initial vision, the production resumed May 12 and is now ready for the Great White Way.

Playwright Roberto Aguirre Sacasa (a Marvel comics writer and an acclaimed dramatist), director Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz) and choreographer Chase Brock (City Center Encores! Lost in the Stars) have joined the production’s creative team to make major changes. Glen Berger remains on the team as a co-writer.

Here, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has released musical numbers from the new Broadway show including "Rise Above," spotlighting the show's star Reeve Carney, "A Freak Like Me Needs Company," with Patrick Page as the Green Goblin, "I Just Can't Walk Away (Say It Now)," a duet between Jennifer Damiano and Carney, and "Boy Falls From the Sky," with Carney and the Spider-Man doubles.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark stars Carney as Peter Parker, Damiano as Mary Jane and T.V. Carpio as Arachne.
