A new musical revue featuring the works of composer Brett Kristofferson, This Love, begins performances Nov. 4 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The revue, which explores "love in its heights and depths and in its many forms and expressions," features cast members Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Chip of the recent Broadway revival of On the Town and Adam in Paul Rudnick’s The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told at the Minetta Lane).

All material in This Love was written by Brett Kristofferson, who built the revue by culling songs from his full-length musicals The Red House and Insanities , as well as the short musical, Anything for Jimmy. This Love marks the debut of four new Kristofferson numbers.

Kristofferson also musical-directed the recent cabaret show Sheridan Square.

The full cast of This Love includes Ferguson, Rebecca Burton, Shaneye Ferrell, Chad Miller and Ryan Perry. Conceived and directed by Dawn M.J. Bates, This Love happens to be Bates' New York directorial debut. Recently, Bates toured with the Theatreworks/USA production of The Velveteen Rabbit.

This Love runs at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, 61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue. Dates and times are Nov. 4 at 8 PM, Nov. 9 at 7 PM, Nov. 10 at 9 PM, Nov. 11 at 8 PM, Nov. 16 at 7 PM and Nov. 18 at 8 PM. All tickets are $10, plus a two-drink minimum. Reservations can be made by calling (212) 255-5438.
