Directed by Joel Bishoff, the evening features musical direction by Brad Ellis. Art Brickman is the stage manager, and Damon Kirche is the production coordinator.

The cast includes MTG members Melissa Lyons Caldretti, Christopher Carothers, Stan Chandler, Melissa Fahn, Zachary Ford, David Holmes, Paul Keith, Roy Leake, Jr., Ashley Fox Linton, Tracy Lore, Glenn Shiroma, John Sloman and Kevin Symons. Guest artists Meloney Collins, Laura Dickinson, Jordan Lamoureux and Fletcher Sheridan are the "Angel City Four."

City of Angels has music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by David Zippel and a book by Larry Gelbart. Song titles include "What You Don't Know about Women," "With Every Breath I Take," "Lost and Found," "You're Nothing without Me," "You Can Always Count on Me" and more.

"An homage to the film noir genre of motion pictures that rose to prominence in the 1940s," City of Angels, press notes state, "weaves together the 'real' world of the writer getting his movie made and the 'reel' world of the detective solving his case, and how the two worlds collide."
