News Musicals Tonight! Season to Include Milk and Honey, L'il Abner, Something for the Boys Musicals Tonight has announced its 14th season, which includes Milk and Honey, All-American, L'il Abner, Sitting Pretty and Something for the Boys.

The 2011-2012 season will play at the newly renovated Lion Theatre.

Milk and Honey, by Jerry Herman and Don Appel, will open the season Oct. 11 with performances running until Oct. 23. The musical includes songs such as "Let's Not Waste a Moment," "Chin Up, Ladies," "That Was Yesterday" and "Shalom."

All-American will follow with performance running Oct. 25-Nov. 6. Songs featured in the musical by Mel Brooks, Strouse and Adams include "Once Upon a Time," "What a Country!," "I've Just Seen Him" and "Our Children."

L’il Abner, by Panama & Frank, Mercer and De Paul will run March 20-April 1 and include songs such as "Namely You," "Jubilation T. Cornpone" and "The Country's in the Very Best of Hands."

Sitting Pretty, by Kern, Wodehouse and Bolton, will begin performances April 17 and run through April 29. The show includes songs such as "All You Need Is a Girl," "A Year from Today" and "Is This Not a Lovely Spot?" The season will conclude with Something for the Boys, May 1-13. The musical, by Cole Porter, Dorothy & Herbert Fields, includes songs such as "Hey, Good Lookin'," "He's a Right Guy" and "The Leader of a Big Time Band."

The Lion Theatre is located on Theatre Row at 410 West 42nd Street.
