Simon Curtis (A Lie of the Mind, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, "Mrs. Dalloway") directed the new film from the Weinstein Company, set during the making of the 1957 film "The Prince and the Show Girl," in which Marilyn Monroe starred opposite Laurence Olivier, who also directed and produced.

Redmayne (Red), who was recently announced for the upcoming film of Les Miserables, portrays Clar opposite Williams ("Brokeback Mountain") as Monroe.

The cast also features Kenneth Brannagh as Olivier; Dougray Scott as Monroe's husband, American playwright Arthur Miller; and Zoe Wanamaker as Monroe's acting coach, Paula Strasberg.

Also featured are Judi Dench, Dominic Cooper, Derek Jacobi, Emma Watson, Julia Ormond, Toby Jones and Richard Clifford.
