Collaborators follows The Kitchen, which screened on the NCM network Nov. 3. One Man, Two Guvnors, which is scheduled to hit Broadway's Music Box Theatre April 18, 2012, was also included in NT Live's season.

Directed by Nicholas Hytner, John Hodge's Collaborators centers on an imaginary encounter between Joseph Stalin and the playwright Mikhail Bulgakov. Alex Jennings plays Bulgakov, and Simon Russell Beale plays Stalin.

Following Collaborators, William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors, directed by Dominic Cooke, artistic director of London’s Royal Court Theatre, will hit theatres March 1, 2012, and star actor-comedian Lenny Henry in his National Theatre debut.

Since NT Live's first season, which began in June 2009 with Phédre starring Helen Mirren, over half-a-million people have experienced the National’s acclaimed work on movie screens around the world.
