News National Tour of Jersey Boys Gets Its Four Seasons Deven May, Erich Bergen, Michael Ingersoll and Christopher Kale Jones will lead the cast to launch the forthcoming national tour of 2006's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Jersey Boys, the producers announced Oct. 23.

The tour will launch from San Francisco's Curran Theatre (starting Dec. 1) and then play an 11-week stint at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre (May 25-Aug. 5, 2007). Also scheduled is a stop at Chicago's LaSalle Bank Theatre in Oct. 2007.

Deven May (Bat Boy) plays Tommy DeVito, Erich Bergen (White Christmas) takes on Bob Gaudio, Michael Ingersoll (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change) will play Nick Massi and Christopher Kale Jones (Zhivago) tackles Frankie Valli.

The cast will also features John Altieri (as Bob Crewe) and Joseph Siravo (Gyp DeCarlo) along with Miles Aubrey, Erik Bates, Sandra DeNise, Jennifer Evans, Rick Faugno, Eric Gutman, Nathan Klau, Brandon Matthieus, Jackie Seiden, Jarrod Spector, Taylor Sternberg and Melissa Strom.

Des McAnuff (The Who's Tommy, Big River) directs the story of American pop group The Four Seasons — the highs, the lows and all in between. The showbiz yarn comes to life with the help of the foursome's hits "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like A Man," "December 1963 (Oh, What A Night)" and more.

Jersey Boys features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice. The production garnered four Tony Award wins for stars John Lloyd Young and Christian Hoff, lighting designer Howell Binkley and for the top prize Best Musical. The design team includes Klara Zieglerova (scenic), Jess Goldstein (costume), Howell Binkley (lighting), Steve Canyon Kennedy (sound), Michael Clark (projections) and Charles LaPointe (wig and hair design). Steve Orich handles orchestrations while Ron Melrose takes on music direction, vocal arrangements and incidental music.

The Jersey Boys tour will be produced by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Tamara and Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, in association with Latitude Link and Rick Steiner.

On Broadway, original stars Christian Hoff (as Tommy DeVito), Daniel Reichard (Bob Gaudio), J. Robert Spencer (Nick Massi) and John Lloyd Young (Frankie Valli) continue in their roles.

The original cast album of Broadway's Jersey Boys — released on Nov. 1, 2005 — by Rhino is currently available and has remained on the Billboard Top Cast Album chart since its debut.
