As President of Jujamcyn Theaters, Roth oversees Broadway productions including the Tony Award-winning musicals The Book of Mormon, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Jersey Boys and the upcoming Something Rotten!

The Centennial Gala Concert is headlined by maestro and violinist Itzhak Perlman, who will perform from his "In the Fiddler's House" album. Other klezmer musicians will also be featured in the line-up of entertainment, conducted by music director Hankus Metsky. They include vocalist Michael Alpert, accordionist Alan Bern, clarinetist Kurt Bjorling, vocalist Judy Bressler, string bass player and cellist Stu Brotman, trumpeter Frank London, vocalist and accordionist Lorin Sklamberg, clarinetist Andy Statman and the Klezmer Conservatory Band.

The event kicks off the launch of the first-ever international Jewish performing arts festival, KulturfestNYC, which will run June 14 through June 22nd in New York City. The festival will celebrate the concept of storytelling that is central to Yiddish culture, featuring live klezmer performances, dance, food, lectures, film and full theatre productions.

NYTF is the longest consecutively-producing Jewish Arts company in the world. "For 100 years, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene has not only produced exceptional entertainment featuring some of the world’s most talented stars, but also has had a profound impact on keeping Jewish and Yiddish culture alive," said Chair of the event, city developer Bruce Ratner in a press statement. "I’m honored to participate in an event that celebrates this critically important mission."
