Neil Simon's London Suite, which premiered in New York in 2000, is to receive its U.K. premiere at the Upstairs at the Gatehouse Theatre in Highgate, from Sept. 4 to Sept. 28.
London Suite, like his earlier hits Plaza Suite and California Suite (the latter being filmed with Maggie Smith and Michael Caine, among others), is set in a hotel suite, in this case in a smart London hotel. The play is split into four sections, all comedies, and the cast is headed by Christopher Cazenove. London Suite is directed by Alexander Holt, designed by Katy Tuxford and Thecla Mallinson, and is lit by Racky Plews.
