News Nellie McKay to Perform at the Zipper May 31 The Zipper Factory will present An Evening With Nellie McKay May 31.

Singer-songwriter McKay, who appeared in the Broadway revival of The Threepenny Opera as Polly Peachum, is known for her albums "Get Away From Me," "Obligatory Villagers" and "Pretty Little Head." McKay has also completed work on the score for the movie musical "The Amazing True Story of a Teenage Single Mom." Her song "I Wanna Get Married" was recorded by Audra McDonald on her latest album "Build a Bridge."

On July 8, McKay kicks off Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing at 6:30 PM. McKay will be joined by the Aristocrats Swing Band for an evening of music inspired by the American songbook.
