News Nemetz, Ross and Wickline Are Up to Nunsense in Pittsburgh March 11 The Pittsburgh CLO production of Dan Goggin's Nunsense, starring Broadway veteran Lenora Nemetz, begins performances March 11 in the CLO Cabaret.

Goggin directs his popular comedy about the Little Sisters of Hoboken. Nunsense veterans Teri Gibson (choreography) and Deana Muro (musical director) also collaborate on the production, which runs through June 6.

Nemetz (Gypsy, Chicago, Working) portrays Sister Robert Anne and performs one of the production's standout numbers, "I Just Want to Be a Star." The actress, who has stood by for Liza Minnelli, Patti LuPone and replaced Chita Rivera in the original production of Chicago, also happens to be referenced in a patter section of that song, which mentions famous understudies.

Nunsense also features Brittany Ross as Sister Mary Amnesia, Terry Wickline as Reverend Mother Mary Regina, Leah Hillgrove as Sister Mary Leo, Christy Rodibaugh as Sister Mary Hubert and Kristiann Menotiades.

According to press notes, "Sister Julia, Child of God, the convent cook, has accidentally poisoned 52 of her fellow sisters at the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery. Heartbroken and in dire need of funds to bury their last four dearly departed sisters, the five surviving "Little Hobos" take over the school auditorium to raise money showcasing their hysterically hidden talents. Featuring star turns, tap dancing nuns, an audience quiz and comic surprises, this is one talent show that is truly heaven sent!"
