A spokesperson for the actress told Playbill On-Line that the still-untitled disc will be released April 5 on the Sony/Integrity label. About her upcoming record, Chenoweth had previously told Playbill On-Line, "It's going to be [called] something like 'Songs I Grew Up On.' It's an inspirational record. There will be a couple of Jesus songs on there," Chenoweth laughed at the time, "but mainly it's for anyone who just wants to be uplifted." Among the other songs to be featured on the disc are Faith Hill's "It Will Be Me" and what has become a signature tune for the performer, Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich's "Taylor, the Latte Boy."

It's an especially busy time for Chenoweth, who can currently be seen on this season's episodes of "The West Wing." Chenoweth will also join the Cincinnati Pops for a concert in Cincinnati's Music Hall Jan. 16, and she'll reprise her performance with the Pops for Carnegie Hall audiences Jan. 25.

Kristin Chenoweth, who received a Tony nomination for her work as Glinda in Stephen Schwartz's Wicked, made her New York theatrical debut opposite Bill Irwin in a production of Molière's Scapin and followed that with a role in Kander and Ebb's Steel Pier. Roles in Off-Broadway's A New Brain, the Broadway comedy Epic Proportions and the City Center Encores! productions of Strike Up the Band and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever ensued. Chenoweth won her Tony for her performance as Sally Brown in the Broadway bow of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Among Chenoweth's upcoming films are "The Pink Panther," "Bewitched," "Asphalt Beach" and the animated Disney picture "Rapunzel Unbraided."
