News New Musical The Good Girl Presented in NYC Oct. 28 The Good Girl, part of the 2010-2011 season of Musical Mondays on Theatrical Thursdays, will be presented Oct. 28 at 6:30 PM at the Jerry Orbach Theater in the Snapple Theater Center.

Directed by Lucie Tiberghien with musical direction by Annie Lebeaux, the cast includes James A. Stephens, Raissa Katona Bennett, Carl Danielsen, Ritt Henn, Mary Liz McNamara, Sierra Rein and Tracy Sallows. The Good Girl features a score by Mary Liz McNamara and a book by McNamara and Arden Kass. The new musical, according to Musical Mondays notes, "tells the story of a conscientious, middle-aged, middle-school math teacher who finally jumpstarts her long-idled love life moments before her mother drops dead, leaving her to care for her father. And then her mother sings to her from a jazz club in the great beyond."

Musical Mondays will next preview Yo, Vikings! Nov. 18 at 6:30 PM. Based on the book by Judith Byron Schachner, the musical features music by Sam Willmott and book and lyrics by Marcus Stevens.
