The official opening is Dec. 14. Thomas G. Waites directs. The cast is led by James Riordan, who, following his noted performance as John Ruskin in the long-running Off-Broadway hit The Countess, won a role on Broadway in The Elephant Man, and understudied parts in Dance of Death and Noises Off. Also in the cast are Stephanie Schweitzer, Ernest Mingione, Eric Millegan, Charlie Moss and Annie McGovern.
The play concerns a smart and beautiful woman who must face her troubled past or fall into madness. Constellations is Book's New York playwriting debut.
The show features scenic and lighting design by Ian McDonald, costume design by Barbarella Zane and sound design by Thomas Anderson.
