Touch the Names—a title which refers to the famously accessible memorial, in which the names of those who died in Vietnam are etched into a sunken wall of black granite, available to searching fingers—will run at the Abingdon Theater (312 West 36th Street) beginning July 1. Opening is July 4 for a run through July 18. The work was conceived by Myler and a collaborator who goes by the handle Chic Street Man. Myler directs. The letters include ones from fellow soldiers, fathers, mothers, daughters, sons and hometown friends.

Among those who will read the letters are Carolyn McCormick (Dinner With Friends), Marylouise Burke (Kimberley Akimbo), Matthew Cowles, Kristin Stewart Chase, Catherine Curtin (Aunt Dan And Lemon), Zabryna Guevana (The Cook), Jing He, T.J. Kenneally (A Few Stout Individuals), Ray Anthony Thomas, Myk Watford (Take Me Out) and Charles Weldon.

The music and songs will be performed live by "Mississippi" Charles Bevel.
