Film & TV News New Unscripted Carol Burnett Series Heads to Netflix A Little Help With Carol Burnett will premiere in 2018.

Tony and Emmy winner Carol Burnett is heading back to the small screen.

The beloved comedic actor's newest show, A Little Help with Carol Burnett, will premiere on Netflix in 2018. The 12 half-hour episodes will feature straight-talking four-to-eight-year-olds who will try to solve the real-life issues of celebrities and everyday folk. Take a look at the trailer above.

The unscripted comedy, in which Burnett and her guests will reveal how a different generation solves some of life's dilemmas, will be filmed in front of a live studio audience.

"Someone once asked me how old I am inside," said Burnett in a statement. "I thought about it, and came up with, 'I'm about eight.' So it's going to be a lot of fun playing with kids my age."

"We're thrilled Carol is bringing her unique sensibilities to Netflix," added Bela Bajaria, vice president, Content Acquisition for Netflix. "Carol is truly a legend in the entertainment industry with unprecedented success and fandom across TV, film and the stage, and we are both honored and excited to work with her."

A Little Help with Carol Burnett is a Netflix Original, produced by Dick Clark Productions.

Burnett's long-time friend and frequent co-star Julie Andrews debuted her newest show, Julie's Greenroom, on Netflix in March. That series, which Andrews created with daughter Emma Walton Hamilton and Judy Rothman-Rofe, is produced by the Jim Henson Company and features Andrews and her human assistant Gus (Giullian Yao Gioiello), along with a gang of “Greenies”—kid puppets built by Henson’s Creature Shop.

Burnett, who was awarded a Special Tony Award in 1969, was nominated for Tonys for her performances in Once Upon a Mattress and Moon Over Buffalo. She has also been seen on Broadway in Fade Out-Fade In, Putting It Together, Hollywood Arms, and Love Letters. Burnett is also a 22-time Emmy Award winner and known for her television variety show The Carol Burnett Show.
