News New Voices to Celebrate Composers Aug. 13; Arcelus and O'Malley to Sing The Monday Nights, New Voices series will continue Aug. 13 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre with an evening devoted to up-n-coming composers.

The annual New Composers evening will celebrate the songs of Michael Cooper, Will Van Dyke and collaborators Steven Routman and Joy Son. Among those scheduled to interpret the works of these writers include Nancy Anderson, Sebastian Arcelus, Kerry O'Malley, Tom Gualtieri, Michael Zahler, Carrie Manolakos, Dana Steingold and Heather Spore. Show time is 7 PM. Barbara Anselmi will be the musical director for the upcoming edition of New Voices, which was launched by composer-producer Scott Alan to "showcase some of today's brightest new talent in New York."
