Classic Arts News New York's Joyce Theater Announces Fall Lineup The Joyce Theater's fall season will include performances by Philadanco, the Parsons Dance Company, and tap star Savion Glover, the New York dance venue announced.
The schedule also features a solo performance by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and the Joyce premiere of Ballet Austin.

Philadanco will open the season with New York premieres by Broadway choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar of Urban Bush Women, and Ronald K. Brown. The Parsons Dance Company will perform dances set to music by the Dave Matthews Band and Earth, Wind & Fire.

De Keersmaeker, whose company Rosas visited New York two years ago, will come on her own this time, performing a solo work set to an entire Joan Baez album. Glover will spend four weeks in residency from mid-December to mid-January; the program has not yet been announced.

Also making appearances are Jennifer Muller/The Works, ODC/San Francisco, Cisne Negro Dance Company, BodyVox, Jazz Tap Ensemble (performing with live music by vocalist Kate McGarry), Ballet Hispanico, Compagnie Marie Chouinard, Emio Greco | PC, and Shapiro & Smith (performing an evening-length work set to music by Bruce Springsteen).
