News Nick Adams, Corey Mach, Kate Rockwell, Wallace Smith and More Set For Broadway Backs Boston Benefit Nick Adams, Corey Mach, Kate Rockwell and Wallace Smith are among the performers set for Broadway Backs Boston, an evening where Broadway performers will come together to support those affected by the Boston Marathon tragedy, May 6 in New York City.

"In light of the recent tragedy in Boston, 15+ members of the Broadway community will perform at the Beechman," according to press notes. "All proceeds will go to the One Fund Boston. This charity was set up to help the people most affected by the unfortunate event that occurred in Boston on April 15."

Show times are 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

Performers include Adams (Pricilla Queen of the Desert, La Cage aux Folles), Tessa Alves (Rock of Ages), Larkin Bogan (Hair, Wicked), Nicholas Christopher (Motown: The Musical, Rent), Matt DeAngelis (Hair, American Idiot), Ariana DeBose (Motown: The Musical, Bring It On: The Musical), Brandon Ellis (Once, Company), Jeanna de Waal (Wicked, American Idiot), Dan Gleason (American Idiot), Marcus Paul James (In The Heights, Rent), Mach (Hands on a Hardbody, Godspell), Maurice Murphy (Motown: The Musical, Leap of Faith), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!), Rockwell (Rock of Ages, Legally Blonde), Ben Thompson (Matilda The Musical, American Idiot), Smith (Godspell, Ragtime), Alysha Umphress (Pricilla Queen of the Desert, American Idiot) and more. The concerts will be musically directed by Eli Zoller.

"As a native Bostonian and longtime New York resident, it broke my heart to see my neighbors and friends in such pain broadcast on the television," said performer DeAngelis in a statement. "I'm incredibly humbled by the support of the Broadway community coming together to help organize this event to aid those in need. This is going to be a very special night, not to be missed."
