News Nick Jonas to Make West End Debut as Marius in Les Misérables Nick Jonas – the singer-songwriter, musician and actor who is part of the Jonas Brothers band that he formed with older siblings Joe and Kevin – will make his West End acting debut, taking over as Marius in Les Misérables for a three-week stint at the Queen's Theatre beginning June 21.

Jonas, who has previously appeared in Les Misérables as a child actor when he played Gavroche during the final months of show's original Broadway run at the Imperial Theatre, has also appeared on Broadway as Chip in Beauty and the Beast and as Little Jake in Annie Get Your Gun. Producer Cameron Mackintosh is reported in London's Daily Mail as saying, "I went up to him at the closing night party in New York and told him he was terrific and hoped that one day he would return to play Marius. We've been in touch a lot and, of course, since then he has become this world-famous star. He and his father and I agreed that it would be great if he came and played Marius here in London."

It is also reported in the Daily Mail that Jonas will be part of a star-studded company that is being assembled to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary at London's 02 Centre, details for which are to be announced shortly.
