The audience is being invited to pick a holiday song and a show tune to be added to the score of the special holiday revue running Dec. 17, 2010-Jan. 2, 2011, in the Geffen's Gil Cates Theater. Creator and musical director Neil Berg leads a three-piece band.

(Expect holiday favorites, too.)

Patrons will have a chance to vote on the song selection with "Show of Hands for Show Tunes." Through this online contest, the Geffen Playhouse will be taking votes from the public to choose one holiday song and one Broadway standard to be added to the program of the revue.

Audiences can vote on the Geffen Playhouse website at www.geffenplayhouse.com/broadwayholiday, and will also have the opportunity to write in their own suggestions. Voting for "Show of Hands for Show Tunes" begins on Nov. 2, and winners will be announced online on Dec. 8.

Ticket prices range from from $65-$75. Tickets are on sale now at the Geffen Playhouse box office, online at www.geffenplayhouse.com or via credit card phone order at (310) 208-5454.
