News Nobbs Directs Cash, Abbott, O'Connor in NYC Reading of Lopez's Reverberation March 8 Ars Nova presents a free reading of Matthew Lopez's Reverberation as part of the Out Loud series March 8 at 7 PM.

Directed by Keith Nobbs (who has appeared on Broadway in Lion in Winter and Off-Broadway in Dog Sees God), the cast of Reverberation includes Chris Abbott, Aya Cash and Clancy O'Connor. In Reverberation, "after a personal tragedy, Jonathan has withdrawn from the world, seeking solace in his memories and in the anonymity of online connections. Claire, his upstairs neighbor, has countless acquaintances but no real friends. Over the course of one autumn, Jonathan and Claire form a bond of mutual loneliness, but the past reverberates into the present, threatening to destroy their fragile happiness."

Lopez's work has been heard and seen at Manhattan Theatre Club, The McCarter Theatre, The New Group, and The Lark Play Development Center. His play The Whipping Man will receive its West Coast premiere at San Diego's Old Globe in May followed by a production at Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA, in June. His other work include Tio Pepe and Zoey's Perfect Wedding. The free reading of Reverberation will take place at Ars Nova, 511 W. 54th Street.
