In a centennial celebration of Noel Coward's birth, the Pacific Resident Theatre has mounted a production of Tonight at 8.30, directed by Daniel O'Connor. The run is through June 25 and the evening is produced by David Dionisio and Rachel Fain.PRT obtained exclusive West Coast rights to this rarely seen bill of three one-acts: The Astonished Heart, We Were Dancing and Ways and Means. Each piece has a style and visual look all its own and runs the gamut from comedy to tragedy, romance to heartbreak. Transitions occur while a pianist or party guest entertains and helps to link the seemingly disparate stories.
Pacific Resident Theatre is located at 703 Venice Blvd. in Venice. For tickets and information call (310) 822-8392.
