The ensemble production, which follows the comedy of a distressed theatre troupe on and off stage, began performances April 23 and runs through May 17 under the direction of Malcolm Morrison. The Hartford cast features Bill Kux (Lloyd Dallas), David Andrew Macdonald (Frederick Fellowes/Philip Brent), Johanna Morrison (Dotty Otley/Mrs. Clacket), Noble Shropshire (Selsdon Mobray/Burglar), Michael Bakkensen (Gary Lejeune/Roger Tramplemain), Andrea Cirie (Belinda Blair/Flavia Brent), Liv Rooth (Brooke Ashton/Vicki), Veronique Hurley (Poppy Norton-Taylo) and Daniel Toot (Tim Allgood).

"In Noises Off, doors slam, identities are confused and chaos reigns in this hilarious farce that follows a motley and disorganized theatre company as they rehearse, perform and, well, just try to make it through Nothing On as the never-ending theatrical mishaps snowball out of control," read press notes.

Designing the Hartford production are set designer Tony Straiges, costume designer Ilona Somogyi, lighting designer Rui Rita and sound designer and composer David Stephen Baker.

Hartford Stage is located at 50 Church Street in downtown Hartford, CT. Tickets for current shows are available by calling (860) 527-5151. For more information visit
