Laura Laureano (age 14), from Ronkonkoma, NY, and Hannah Beatt (age 9), from Sarasota, FL, won the "Not Your Ordinary Princess" competition, which was sponsored by Nick.com. Laureano will play Teen Fiona with Beatt as Young Fiona opposite Foster in the 8 PM performance at the Broadway Theatre. (The role of Teen Fiona is usually played by Tessa Albertson; the role of Young Fiona is regularly played by R?zi Baker or Maya Goldman.)
The winners will be flown to New York to rehearse with Foster and members of the show's creative team and have a costume fitting prior to their one-night-only performance.
Video entries were viewed by the casting department for the show, with finalists' entries judged by Jason Moore (director), David Lindsay-Abaire (lyricist), Jeanine Tesori (composer) and Tony winner Foster.
