Nunsense II, the second coming..., Dan Goggin's sequel to Nunsense, will get a second-coming of its own at Nasuah, NH's American Stage Festival. The show, scheduled to run through Mar. 14, has been extended a week to Mar. 21. Performances began Mar. 4.

In the second coming, the Little Sisters of Hoboken return to thank everyone who helped them out in their first Nunsense variety show, allowing them to bury their fellow sisters who succumbed to a bad batch of vichyssoise. Nothing, however, goes right for them as Sister Mary Amnesia remembers her true identity as a country western singer and Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes winner; the convent cook, Julia, Child of God, is going to prison; the bingo game is out of control, and nuns on skates just don't work.

Shawn Churchman directs the Little Sisters featuring Kristen Anderson (Sister Robert Anne), Jennifer Bacon-Blaine (Sister Mary Hubert), Pamela Denning (Reverend Mother), Jeanne Jones (Sister Mary Amnesia) and Micah Patman (Sister Mary Leo).

Designers for the show are Charles F. Morgan (sets), Charlie Morrison and Ben April (lighting) and Toni Bratton Elliott (costumes). Tim Howard musical directs.

Tickets are $18-$12. For reservations, call (603) 886-7000. The American Stage Festival is located at 14 Court Street in Nashua. -- By Christine Ehren
