CHICAGO--Chicago's Court Theatre is joining forces with New York's Theatre for a New Audience to present an Off-Broadway revival of the Court's The Iphigenia Cycle. Much praised when it debuted in 1997, JoAnne Akalaitis' retelling of Euripides' tribute to the noble martyr Iphigenia will retain the original designers and composer, and most of the original ensemble. It's scheduled to open in January 1999. The collaboration represents another step toward the Court Theatre's goal to become a "National Center for Classic Theatre."
