News NY's Oberon Ensemble Gives Life to its Namesake in Updated Dream Feb. 4-20 The Oberon Theatre Ensemble will present William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream Feb. 4-20 at the Producer's Club. The company itself is named for Shakepeare's Oberon, the king of the fairies.

The Oberon Theatre Ensemble will present William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream Feb. 4-20 at the Producer's Club. The company itself is named for Shakepeare's Oberon, the king of the fairies. This version of the classic comic tale of fairies (of whom Puck is the most famous) and lovers has been set in the mid-1950s by director Donovan Johnson.

The cast includes Micahel Stewart Allen, Laurie Bannister-Colon, Kathleen Carol, Bruce Cohen, Jane Courtney, Brad Fryman, John Gammon, Grant Goodman, Linda Hetrick, Stacee Mandeville, Lisa Monahan, Caise Rode, Kate Ross, Luara Siner, Sandy Van Bremen and Maxwell Zener.
