News October Line-Up at London's Crazy Coqs Includes Steven Brinberg, Billy Stritch, KT Sullivan and Frances Ruffelle The October line-up at London's Crazy Coqs will include appearances by Steven Brinberg, Billy Stritch, KT Sullivan and Karen Kohler from the U.S., plus Britain's Tony-winning actress Frances Ruffelle.

Steven Brinberg will bring Simply Barbra back to London for a run from Oct. 1-5, on the 15th anniversary of his London debut of his Streisand tribute show. He will be accompanied by Nathan Martin. According to press materials, as well as touring all over America, he has also played extensively in England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Spain, Mexico and Canada, "more cities then the real Barbra!"

Frances Ruffelle, who created the role of Eponine in the original West End and Broadway productions of Les Miserables, will present a show called Paris Original from Oct. 8-12. According to press materials, the show explores the glamour and romance of the city of light, celebrating all things 'ooh la la' with the music of France's most celebrated chanteuses from Françoise Hardy to Edith Piaf and much more. Rufeelle recently appeared at New York's 54 Below, and she will be returning there in September. Her musical director is Ben Atkinson.

Billy Stritch will celebrate the work of Broadway composer Cy Coleman in a show entitled I've Got Your Number – the Jazz of Cy Coleman, from Oct. 15-19. Stritch has performed in London many times both as a solo artist as accompanist to Liza Minnelli, for whose show Liza's at the Palace he was musical supervisor and pianist.

KT Sullivan and Karen Kohler will present Vienna to Weimar from Oct. 22-26, in a show that takes them from 1870s Vienna and the operetta of Strauss and Lehar to 1930s Berlin and the cabaret music of Hollaender, Weill, Brecht, Spoliansky and more. Jed Distler will accompany KT Sullivan and Karen Kohler on piano. Then KT Sullivan will present her solo show Rhyme, Women and Song from Oct. 29-Nov. 2, featuring songs written in whole or in part by women, including Dorothy Fields, Carolyn Leigh, Kay Swift, Betty Comden, Dorothy Parker, Marilyn Bergman, Carol King and Joni Mitchell. She is accompanied by Jed Distler.
