They're four "Women Of Achievement" -- Rosie O'Donnell, Stockard Channing, Annette Green and Marilyn Horne -- and they'll all be honored at a special awards ceremony hosted by The Women's Project & Productions, June 9 at NYC's Tavern On The Green restaurant.
Newscaster Roz Abrams will emcee the 7 PM event, which will feature guest presenters Mandy Patinkin, Marvin Hamlisch, Bernard Gersten and Robin Leach.
O'Donnell appeared on Broadway in Grease! and hosted the 1997 Tony Awards; Channing is currently on Broadway in The Little Foxes and previously appeared in Hapgood and Six Degrees Of Separation, both at Lincoln Center.
Created by artistic director Julia Miles in 1978, the Women's Project helps women experiment, exchange ideas and bring their work to the stage. More than 90 plays have been produced by the organization.
