Off-Broadway's about to go Belly Up, but only in a new comedy by Tom Bondi and Mark Holt. The two man play, which delves into the nightlives of New York's underbelly, plays the Sanford Meisner Theatre Jan. 30-Feb. 23. James Busby directs. Bondi and Holt portray 18 different denizens of Manhattan's down-and outs and wanna-bes: chorus boys, club kids, co-eds, barflies and Bev, a former "The Price Is Right" model who now works the make-up counter at the local Rite Aid. Belly Up made its premiere at Dixon Place under the title Belly Up, Drunk Ass Folk.

As a team, Bondi and Holt have created the mock PBS-style theatrical documentary, Armchair America, The Recline of Western Civilazation and The Crack Muffin Opera. Holt also writes for LIttle Sisy Magazine and the Miami Light Project, while Bondi has performed at the Westbeth Theatre Center, New York Theatre Workshop and the New York Shakespeare Festival in others' works.

Opening night is Feb. 2. Tickets are $20. The Sandord Meisner Theatre is located at 164 11th Avenue at 22nd Street. For reservations, call (212) 592-3480.
