News Ogunquit's Young Frankenstein, With John Bolton, Sandy Rosenberg and Lesley McKinnell, Begins July 10 John Bolton, who earned acclaim for his performance in A Christmas Story, The Musical on Broadway, stars as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein in the Ogunquit Playhouse production of the Mel Brooks musical Young Frankenstein. Performances begin July 10.

Jeff Whiting, the associate to Tony-winning director Susan Stroman, directs and choreographs the Ogunquit production that is based on Stroman's original Broadway staging. Young Frankenstein runs through July 27.

The cast also features Lesley McKinnell (Wicked) as Elizsabeth, Nathan Klau (Jersey Boys) as Igor, Bradley Nacht (Billy Elliot) as The Monster, Sandy Rosenberg (The Scarlet Pimpernel) as Frau Blucher, Lara Seibert (A Christmas Story) as Inga, Tom Souhrada (The King & I) as Inspector Kemp/Hermit, as well as Michael Peter Deeb, Jerome Doerger, Lawrence Fernandez, Brett Figel, Kinsland Howell, Beau Hutchings, Lauren Kadel, Ted Keener, Ashley Munzek, Adrienne Paguin, Sara Michelle Reardon, Shaun Repetto, Kristine Schoen-René, Jeffrey Scotts Stevens and Erin Wegner Brooks.

The production has musical direction by Jonathan Parks, scenic design by Robin Wagner, lighting design by Richard Latta, costume design by William Ivey Long, sound design by Don Hanna. The Ogunquit production reflects the original Broadway designs by Wagner and Long.

Young Frankenstein premiered at the Hilton Theatre (now the Foxwoods Theatre) on Nov. 28, 2007, with a book by Tony Award winners Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan and music and lyrics by Brooks.
